Eve Torres Bio, Age, Husband – Rener Gracie, Children, Family

Among the many hats she wears, Eve Torres is best known as a former wrestler, martial arts teacher, dancer, model, and actress. Although it cannot be denied that she is a diva in every way, Eve has carved out a niche for herself in WWE and won some interesting prizes by doing something she liked in the male-dominated world of wrestling.

She currently wears a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which she received during her active years as a wrestler. After her retirement, she continues to work with her husband as an instructor at the Gracia Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Torrence, California. Read on for a detailed look at how this beauty took the bold step into the world of wrestling.

Eve Torres Bio (Age)

Eve Torres’ life began in Boston Massachuttes, where she was born on August 21, 1984. Although she spent much of her childhood in Denver, Colorado, she is descended from strong Latin American roots of Nicaraguan descent with a mixture of German and Swedish blood. She grew up alongside a younger sibling named Phil, who is a media personality in the field of TV presentations. There are no details of where the diva attended high school, but it is on record that she attended college at the University of Southern California with full tuition, so she must have been an A student in high school. She graduated with honors in industrial and systems engineering.

Although Eve was serious about her studies while in high school, she also took time off for extracurricular activities, which in this case provided her with an extra income. She honed her dance skills in the USC Fly Girls Dance Squad and eventually appeared in music videos and commercials for high-paying companies. She kept performing until graduation and then moved on to dancing and modeling as a full-time career choice.

The Move To Wrestling

Eve Torres’ journey into the world of professional wrestling began in 2007 when she participated in WWE’s Diva Search, a reality show broadcast live on Raw, in search of capable women who would join the wrestling world as performers. Of the total of 50 women who participated in the show, Torres won the award and took the crown as the 2007 Diva Search winner, beating Brooke Gilbertson and beginning her training for future heroism in the company.

She had her first assignment on February 1, 2008, in an interview with superstar wrestler Batista. After that, she took part in various shows, whose main goal was mostly to find the best diva among the many in the company. She often took part in arm wrestling, obstacle courses, and bikini competitions.

Her role as a diva began to take a turn when Eve Torres started a feud against co- diva Michelle McCool who, it is said, had previously attacked her. The feud led to a fight that she lost, but which she kept, especially because the script was written for it. She also found herself in a feud with other divas and joined tag teams before becoming the manager of the Cryme-Tyme team, which consisted of Shad and JTG.

In 2009 the WWE traded Eve Torres for Raw, where she lost her first game against Alicia Fox. The following year Torres signed up for a show to crown a new champion in the WWE Diva category. She reached the semi-finals but was ousted by Maryse, who took the crown. Three months later she defeated Maryse in the Battle Royale and won the Diva Championship for the first time, then defended it against the previous winner, but finally lost it to Alicia Fox. Torres won and lost the title several more times.

Eve Torres again moved into a leadership position at WWE when she was appointed Executive Administrator of Raw and SmackDown in 2011. She remained in that role but still did some fighting and diva work before finally retiring in 2013. In addition to WWE, the star has also appeared in television shows and films including The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power and Matador.

Family: Husband and Children

While her career in the WWE lasted, Eve Torres was romantically involved with a variety of female wrestlers, although most of them were based on the scripts they were writing at the time and as such do not count as real relationships.

In fact, Torres met and fell in love with the American-Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner, Rener Gracie, while attending a training course at the Gracie Academy, of which he is a co-owner. They met for a while and married in April 2014, and through their union, two sons were born: Raeven Gracie, born September 28, 2015, and a second son, born in 2018.

Where is She Now?

After a successful career as one of the most successful divas in WWE, Torres Gracie, who was a three-time Diva Champion, retired in 2013 but is still connected to the company through the WWE Legends contract. She currently works as an instructor in the Gracie Women Empowered Self-Defense program at her husband’s Gracie Academy.

In addition to her work as an actress, Eve Torres is also an ambassador for WWE. These efforts in addition to her young family have kept the star busy. Even though she is retired, she is still in the spotlight.
