Peyton Royce Bio
Peyton Royce was born on 10 November 1992 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She later moved to Melbourne. She attended Westfields Sports High School, which was located on the outskirts of Sydney. The school is a dedicated sports college.
Interestingly, wrestling was not always Peyton’s first love. As a teenager, she had set herself the goal of pursuing a career as a dancer. Perhaps her dance skills are one reason for the flexibility and elegance that have become synonymous with her fighting style. She has an impressive series of stylish kicks that combine ballerina and martial artists.
She started watching wrestling at the age of nine when she was nine years old and at thirteen when she realized that she wanted to become a professional wrestler. As she grew up, she was strongly inspired by the legendary Eddie Guerrero.
Miss Peyton ventured into sports entertainment with NXT Superstar and her close friend Billie Kay, who trained in Sydney, Australia. She moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada where she met the legendary Lance Storm. Lance’s guidance was a large part of her formative training, which provided her with the skills necessary to shine on the big stage.

Peyton joined the Pro Wrestling Women’s Alliance (PWWA) and made her wrestling debut on February 28, 2009. She competed in a mixed tag team match against Madison Eagles and Mike Valuable while she teamed up with the Robbie Eagles. Her team subsequently won the match. During her time there, she fought through a series of victories and painful defeats and unsuccessfully challenged the Madison Eagles for the championship. Peyton Royce was with the PWWA for quite some time and from 2009 to 2015, when she made the leap to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), she was part of the independent circuit.
Her WWE Career
Peyton was on tour in Australia when she received a tryout from WWE in August 2014. According to her, she cried hysterically when she received the news. In April 2015, Peyton was announced by the WWE as part of a new group of interns and signed with the NXT.
Her debut in the ring was a loss for NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. The following week she was defeated again by Eva Marie. On August 7, 2015, she received her new ring name – Peyton Royce. She was previously identified as KC Cassidy and Cassie in previous games.
In October, Peyton formed an alliance with Australian wrestler Billie Kay. They would later be known as The Iconic Duo. The duo fought a series of feuds throughout the women’s division and fought with superstars like Liv Morgan and Asuka. Peyton was given title chances, but couldn’t use them. Nevertheless, she made her first appearance on the main list on April 8, 2018, at WrestleMania 34.
Immediately after WrestleMania, Royce and Kay debuted on the blue SmackDown brand when they attacked then SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and left her in a heap. They were now called “The IIconics” and secured their first victory on SmackDown against Becky Lynch and Asuka. Charlotte was later to get a certain amount of revenge when she defeated Peyton in a qualifier for the Money in a bank fight.

1. Her real name is Cassie Mclntosh. Peyton Royce was a ring name she adopted when she joined NXT.
