The Republican commentator and author appeared frequently on television in defense of her party’s presidential candidate, who ended up winning the elections and becoming the 45th President of the United States.
Thanks to the role she played, Ms. Loudon also secured a position as a member of the media advisory board for the 2020 Trump campaign. Born in Missouri, she first worked as a radio talk show host for KJSL in her hometown of St. Louis before moving to Alabama to work for WYDE-FM. Later, she made the transition from radio to television when she took over as host of America Trends, a show that focuses on social media and the trends of the day.

With all this work and her affiliation with the Tea Party movement, it came as no surprise that Gina Loudon was appointed as the Trump Campaign’s official deputy and spokesperson in 2016. Since then, she has gained even more fame with the publication of the book Mad Politics: Keeping Your Sanity in a World Gone Crazy in 2018, in which she claimed that Trump was “the smartest person ever to occupy the White House. Loudon said she relied on scientific evidence to reach her conclusion, a claim that has since been refuted by many, most notably by The Daily Beast, which questioned her qualifications in psychology.

Who Are Her Family Members?
Since 1990, Gina Loudon has been married to John William Loudon, an American politician close to the Republican Party, who was elected, along with his wife, as national delegates to the Republican National Convention held in 2016.
John Loudon was previously a member of the Missouri House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000, and then a member of the Missouri Senate for the 7th District of Missouri from 2000 until his retirement in 2008 due to the limited time in the Missouri Senate. After his term, the politician worked as a political advisor for America First Policies, serving as Chairman of both Florida Citizen Voters and Citizen Voters Inc.
Gina and John, who allegedly met while she was enrolled at William Woods University, exchanged vows in Fulton, Missouri, at her husband’s alma mater at Westminster College. Together the couple has five children: Lyda, Lily, Bo, Samuel, and Jack.
Two of the Loudon children have made the headlines in the past for different reasons. The first is Samuel, the son of the couple who was adopted as a newborn with Down syndrome. Gina Loudon has spoken repeatedly about the challenges of raising a child suffering from the disease and her struggle to draw attention to the disease. The second of the Loudon children to attract public attention was daughter Lydia because of her relationship with Cuban-American actor Steven Bauer, who is almost forty years older than her.

Lydia and Bauer reportedly began their relationship in mid-2014, two years after the actor, known for his roles in Scarface, Ray Donovan, and Breaking Bad ended his marriage to his fourth wife, Paulette Miltimore. While some reports indicated that the relationship between the two broke their parents’ hearts, Gina Loudon wrote an open essay of 2,000 words in which she discussed the subject: from the status of her daughter’s virginity at the age of eighteen to her family’s decision to support her as her private life has seen an influx of paparazzi and other unwanted intruders.
Apart from her relationship with the film and television star, Lydia Loudon is also known for her work with the L3 Foundation. The up-and-coming journalist founded the non-profit organization with the goal of informing, educating, and empowering the Millennials to turn America’s future around.
