Who Is Carter Page, Is He Gay, Who Is The Wife, How Is He Connected To Russia?

Carter Page is not a name that was popular on the public scene until 2016 when he joined the campaign for Donald Trump’s presidential race as a foreign policy advisor. He is a managing partner of Global Energy Capital, the company he founded. Along with several others who have worked as foreign policy advisors to the Trump campaign, he is also a focal point in the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 elections.

Who is Carter Page?

The former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser was born Carter William Page on June 3, 1971, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York, with his parents – Allan Robert Page and Rachel Page.

As for his education, Page attended Our Lady of Lourdes High School, which he graduated from in 1989. He then transferred to the United States Naval Academy, where he graduated at the top of his class and then received an MA from Georgetown University.

With a father who was a manager and executive at the Central Hudson Gas & Electric Company, it was easy for Carter Page to enter the corporate world after serving in the U.S. Navy for five years. Prior to that, however, he worked at Merrill Lynch as an investment banker after studying at New York University and earning an MBA.

At Merrill Lynch, he served in Moscow, where he served as one of the Vice Presidents, although in real life this position was not as big as it sounds and he had little to no decision-making authority. He left the company in 2008 to launch his Global Energy Capital alongside James Richard and Sergei Yazsenko.

However, as of 2017, he was the company’s sole employee, and not much is known about the company, which had its focus on oil and gas. As a result, many other things about him are not very clear either.

Who Is The Wife OrĀ Is He Gay?

Before his involvement in the Trump campaign, and then his connections to Russia and his name, which appears in the ongoing investigation, little is known about Carter Page. In fact, he is little known in the business world in Russia, where he worked for a long time.

This means that his relationship life has also remained largely hidden from the public. In addition, there are no records to prove that he has a wife or even suggest that he has ever been married. This does not mean that he is homosexual, as there are no records to prove this.

How Is He Connected To Russia?

As mentioned above, even before he had anything to do with the Trump campaign, Carter Page had connections to Russia, where he worked for more than seven years. According to him, he worked with Kremlin personnel as an informal advisor. That was in 2013 in view of the G-20 summit, where energy issues were on the agenda.

Beyond his mere presence in Russia, Page has always said that he had a soft side for Russia, or rather, he has always had pro-Vladimir Putin feelings that led him to cultivate critical ideas about U.S. foreign policy towards Russia.

On March 21, 2016, Carter Page was appointed a foreign policy adviser to Donald Trump for his campaign. In September, the investigation of allegations of Russian interference in the elections and of contacts between some members of the Trump campaign and Russian officials was to begin. One of those at the center of the investigation was Page, and this led to his resignation from the campaign team.

Page became even more involved in the controversy after his name was linked to the Trump-Russia dossier, which contained allegations of a conspiracy between the Russian government and the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election.

While others, such as Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos, and Michael Flynn, who were also involved in the investigation, would later plead guilty to various charges, there is still no case against Carter Page, who testified before the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee and is still under investigation by the FBI.
