Her big breakthrough in the world of acting came in 2000 with her role as Mystique (the older version of the character) in Marvel’s X-Men. For her role, she had to be painted with body paint, which supposedly took about 8 hours to get dressed. She also played in the following sequels until the role was replaced by Jennifer Lawrence. Rebecca played the role of Laure Ash/Lily in the 2002 film Femme Fatale. Subsequently, she starred in other movies such as Rollerball, The Punisher, Dirty Work, Lake City, Godsend, The Con Artist, Love Lock, and others. She also appeared in other television series such as the ABC series Ugly Betty, Pepper Dennis, Eastwick, King & Maxwell, and others. Currently, Rebecca is playing the role of Eve Baird in the television series The Librarians.
